BOWTECH TARGET BOWS
Bowtech Archery was founded in 1999 by John Strasheim and Kevin Strother and produced their first bow in 2000, the Black Knight, marketed as "the fastest bows in the world" and took the Archery Trade Association Show by storm, challenging the competition to shoot their bows through a chronograph next to Bowtech's Black Knight.
Located on the outskirts of Eugene, Oregon, USA, in a 60,000 square foot facility and in 2007 undertook an 80,000 square foot expansion where it employs over 300 staff. In 2004 Bowtech acquired Diamond Archery. Bowtech is now one of the largest compound bow manufacturers in the world. Bowtech's motto is Refuse to Follow.
JDH Capital, based in Texas acquired Bowtech and their subsidiaries from the Pure Archery Group on the 12th February 2022. Bowtech has facilities in Oregon, Montana and Michigan, USA as well as Ontario, Canada.
Bowtech are proudly obsessed with accuracy and providing everything that you want in a bow. Over the last 2 years they have surveyed nearly a quarter million archers like you and it was pretty clear what people want in a bow, so they built it. Not only did they build it, the industry said they hit the mark and surpassed their competitors. In 2019 Bowtech Realm SR6 won the Outdoor Life Editor's Choice Award, nailing the speed, smooth draw, lightweight and accuracy categories, all in one bow.
Bowtech now has the Deadlock Cam System. With no need for yokes to tune the bow, it simply requires unlocking and the turn of an Allen screw to move the cams left or right to assist in tuning in a precise method. This is a huge step forward for archery.
For 2024 Bowtech has released the Reckoning Gen2 bows with the ultra tuneable Deadlock Cam System, Orbit Dampeners to cut vibration and silence the shot and an Integrated Dovetail system for IMS Arrow Rests with this mounting capability. These can be securely attached to your bow with no fear of movement.
