Hanson Bow Scale, originally called a Viking Jr model, is used to check the draw and holding weight on compound & recurve bows. A must in every archer's home, in pro shops and at clubs, this hanging scale is the quickest, most accurate way to measure draw weight.
Scale has top and bottom hooks, with a heavy duty, "S" hook for safe hanging and the calibration screw ensures lasting accuracy. Just hang the scale from a sturdy location, place your bow string over "J" hook and pull down.
Weighs up to 100 lbs. Scale marked from 0 to 100 pounds in 1 pound increments to allow for precise measurement of bow weight. It has easy-to-read, one pound increments. The 100 pound capacity handles the heaviest bows.

Hanson Brothers Scale Company was founded in the early 1890's by Marius and William Hansen in Chicago and remained in the Hansen family for 3 generations until 1969 when it was sold by Stan Hanssen to Sunbeam. The Hanssen family continued to operate Hanson Ltd in Ireland until the late 1990s.
