Beiter Balance Clip

The Beiter Balance Clip is a small, but important tool that is easy to use.

It helps to accurately determine the balance point of the arrow and lets you easily calculate the F.O.C. (forward of centre), the percentage of the balance point from the middle of the arrow.

Simple to use, just clip the Balance Clip onto the arrow and move the clip until you find the point of balance.

Measure the distance in mm from the balance point to the arrow point (S) and the overall arrow length (L).

The F.O.C. in % can be calculated with this formula. F.O.C. % = ((L/2)-S) x 100/L and with these quotients, S being 290, L being 780 makes an F.O.C. of 12.82%.

With the Balance Clip not only can you determine the balance point of a single arrow, but also the difference in balance of a series of arrows. Simply measure every balance point on each arrow of your selected arrows with a pencil. Align the arrows and you will see if the lines you have marked on each shaft are all at the same height.

It is also interesting to measure a series of bare shafts, to find the best balanced group.

Balance Clip is available in two models, #1 suits carbon arrows and #2 suits both carbon and aluminium arrows. Please specify size.

Many inferior knock-off imitators have come on the scene and appear to look and feel like a Beiter Balance Clip, but lack Beiter's precision engineering, exact fitting, outstanding design, top quality materials and the highest quality standards and certainly do not perform anywhere near as well as a Beiter Balance Clip.
