STAN SX3 Release Description
The STAN SX3 by Stanislawski Archery Products is a thumb trigger target release featuring the silkpath sear and comes in both Medium and Large sizes as well as Three Finger and Four Finger configurations.
The SX3 follows the tradition of it's predecessor, SX2 but incorporates Trainer Lock technology for practicing shot execution without firing an arrow.
The gentle handle sweep design allows more fingers to pull the weight and offers slightly more leverage than the shootoff! model.
Smooth triggerless action. Like the name implies, silkpath sears are as smooth as silk and crisp like only a STAN can be, yet are enhanced and hardened with 440C stainless steel construction to make them brutally tough.
ErgoFit Cross Training technology allows the user to cross train. All STAN releases have a similar fit and feel.
The trademark STAN comfort is sure to hold your attention, the SX3 has it all.
The STAN SX3 has a multi-positional thumb trigger, adjustable for projection, tilt and angle and is finished with a proprietary polishing process and set in place by experienced craftsmen to ensure years of reliable service.
The hallmark of a silkpath sear is its infinite adjustability and features a huge trigger travel and tension adjustability without the need to fumble with changing any springs.
Internal mechanisms are lightning fast.

I have been a big believer in the Stan releases dating back into the 1980's when I taught my children to shoot a bow. As time has progressed, so have the different models of the release. There is a model with a hand grip and angle to fit the needs of nearly every archer. Each goes off consistently and smoothly with back tension. I have taught hundreds of people to shoot with one of the Stans in their hands. Terry Wunderle, Professional Archery Coach
So much is riding on your equipment. You spend countless hours training for that big win and there's nothing worse than having it snatched away by equipment failure. That's why I shoot a STAN. It never fails, never changes, and always stays crisp. Sharon Carpenter, professional archer
This is what people have said about STAN SX3 Release.
5 out of 5 stars. "Top Notch Release. One of my favorite releases. Very comfortable and has good weight to it. Crisp trigger that stays put once set. The trainer-lock is a nice feature as well (very useful when testing a new draw weight for the first time). Definitely a winner from Stan." From CW from USA
5 out of 5 stars. "Excellent releaser. The Stan SX 3 is an excellent releaser. The finish is just as good as SX 2, if not better. With all its adjustment options for the trigger, everyone is able to find a personal setting for the trigger. I also like the locking pin for the claw. Now I can practice pulling the trigger with my bow at full draw and see if I have any bow hand or release hand movements just before or during release moment. The option on the trio where I can use my pinky to twist the releaser to just where I want it at full draw is also a benefit. I haven't tried many releasers so I can't say this is the best releaser on the market. Among the few I have tried Stan is clearly the best. I have also tried T.R.U. Ball Absolute 360 (way too many moving parts) and Carter. Stan SX is not the cheapest releaser on the market but you get back the value in quality and finish." From Oddgeir from USA
5 out of 5 stars. "Awesome Release. First off, I have been a trigger release guy for 21 yrs. I keep toying with the idea of going to a thumb release. I primarily bow hunt and shoot some 3D. I finally took the plunge. I went to my store to get some work done on my bow. Abe my tech, he helped me get fitted for my release and made some adjustments for me. I will say it is a bit humbling at first. You will not automatically go to shooting lights out by no means. I will say start slow, stick with it and don't give up. After a week or so of doing some blank bailing to start and shooting closer distances. I am starting to see my groups tighten up very nicely. I am four weeks into my training. My confidence is starting to grow by the week and starting to get back to my shooting ranges of old. I believe that this is the change needed in my archery game. That will take my shooting and hunting to the next level. I am committed to this release. The value and quality is outstanding. Yes you do get what you pay for. The adjust ability is awesome, you don't have to carry different springs to adjust the tension on the release. The sear on it is amazing and very crisp. Great product. Richard." From Gorilla from USA
5 out of 5 stars. "Fantastic Release. This release is amazing!!!! I have been shooting it for a while and it shoots great. It is super easy to adjust. I love the adjustability of the trigger. This release has a good finish that will not scratch, ding, or chip when you drop it. This release might be expensive, but it is well worth the money. It has improved my scores a lot." 5 out of 5 stars. "SX-3. Excellent addition to the Stan line. The addition of the trainer lock is outstanding and will really help anyone with anchoring, aiming, letting down, and setting peep height without the risk of firing the release inadvertently. I personally like the 4 finger the best as it does have a straighter handle than the shootoff...but both are excellent releases. And, just like a Stan, crisp and clean at the shot. As for points of impact, very similar to the MoreX hinge line." From FBerg from USA
5 out of 5 stars. "Stan SX3 Supreme Release. I have purchased many products over many years and have yet to do a review. Slack of me I know. But, this release aid is deserving of my time to review. Ordered the trio medium, the fit in my medium sized hand is perfect, the machining, finish and design is perfect, the release is quiet, fast and smooth. I have been shooting back tension type releases for around 8 years now and have just gone back to a trigger type. Purchased a carter target 4 and although this is a great release it seems bulky, uncomfortable, slow and well, just old in the way it looks, feels and shoots. Don't get me wrong, I know it is actually an excellent release aid but the Stan SX3 is awesome. I have purchased many releases and this is by far the best. The colour is hot and so is the shot. Definitely up there with the best of releases if not the best." From murray alan colquhoun from USA
