The World's top ten most venomous snakes
April 6th 2020. As a consequence of the devastating bush fires that wreaked destruction in much of the South Coast of New South Wales and Southern Queensland, Abbey Archery has received enquiries about Australia's native animals and in particular, about our snakes.
There is extensive research by the University of Queensland's Associate Professor, Dr Bryan Grieg Fry who is also Head of the Venom Evolution Laboratory and he ranks the World's top ten most venomous snakes as follows

- 7. Banded Water Cobra
- 8. Saw-Scaled Viper
- 9. Tiger Rattlesnake
- 10. Mainland Tiger Snake
