Surprisingly the Mathews McPherson series MR7 improved on the ever popular 2010 Monster 7 design.
Being the premier shootable speed bow of 2010, it is difficult to fathom improving on such an icon.
The MR7 has improved across the board, not so much in speed but in every other regard.
The patented AVS dual cam system enables the MR7 to shoot speeds of 344 feet per second, while eliminating difficult timing and tuning scenarios encountered with other dual cams.
Drawing this bow is unlike any other speed bow, the cycle is smooth from the start and finishes against the hard wall.
With the patented Grid Lock riser system and parallel quad limbs this bow is excessively reliable and durable.
The MR7 lacks nothing in shootability either. A generous 7" brace height creates a very forgiving bow.
The Double Damper Roller Guard adds to the smoothness on the draw and the Dead End String Stop, Harmonic Dampers and Monkey Tails wipe out any post shot noise and vibration.
