Mathews Jewel features

• Perimeter Weighted Jewel Cam technology is yet another Mathews innovation, featuring a metal inertia disk strategically placed on the perimeter of the cam. As the bow limbs fire, the inertia disk catapults in the opposite direction, counteracting the limb momentum and resulting in dramatically decreased recoil and noise.GeoGrid riser, a geometric pattern, to make this a stronger, lighter weight riser.
• SE5 composite SlimLimbs. Mathews' proprietary SE5 composite SlimLimb technology raises durability, performance and efficiency to unprecedented levels and are nearly 20% lighter than V-Lock limb systems. Featured on the Jewel are four unique limb graphics in Gold, Pink, Teal and Platinum. The limb graphic preferred will dictate the colour of the Jewel and all other coloured accents on the bow.
• Parallel limbs. In 1996 Mathews pioneered parallel-limb technology, now the industry standard in bow design that has been adopted by other bow companies. Parallel limbs travel in a vertical motion to cancel vibration and create a smoother, quieter bow.
• Limb Cups. Spherelock is Mathews' cutting-edge positive-locking limb cup system. Its trim, lightweight and pivots to ensure constant and positive downward limb pressure.
• Limb Turrets. The SlimLimbs on a Mathews bow ride on these spindle-shaped limb turrets, which spread the load and cradle the limbs.
• Reverse Assist Roller Guard reduces friction for a smoother draw cycle by positioning cables in a reverse manner, in front rather than behind the roller guard. Traditional roller guards position cables on the back side of the roller guard and cause the cables to wrap tighter as the bow is drawn back and therefore places more pressure on the cables. The Mathews guard allows the cable to roll with less tension in a fully contained roller guard and ultimately makes the bow smoother since there is less tension on the cable.
• Harmonic stabiliser lite weighs a mere 1260 grains and will give optimum performance and reduce nearly 75% residual vibration and is nearly 70% lighter than the original Harmonic Stabiliser!
• Harmonic Dampers have become the visual identifier of a Mathews bow, weighing just 205 grains. They are weights floating in an elastomer wheel to absorb recoil vibration in the riser which is so significant that it has been licensed for use in other industries.
• String Suppressors. Without String Suppressors, bow strings would whiplash back and forth between the cam and idler wheel upon release. String suppressors deaden vibration, producing a much quieter and smoother shot. A highly effective system to quickly bring the forward motion of the bowstring to a halt, greatly reducing string vibration and noise.
• Dead End String Stop Lite drastically reduces vibration and virtually eliminates post-release noise.
• 3 Monkey Tails factory installed on the Jewel equate to a minimal speed loss of 1-2 fps total, with virtually all string and cable sound and vibration eliminated. Effective string dampening that installs in seconds without a bow press.
• String Grubs aid in reducing string vibration in order to gain more speed.
• Dead End String Stop Lite drastically reduces vibration and virtually eliminates post-release noise. Matching Dead End String Stop emblems are featured on the new Jewel based on the limb graphics preferred.
• Mathews genuine accessories are made to precise standards to optimise performance and provide perfect fit, finish and quality to your Mathews bow. You'll find Mathews innovation within each product and experience excellence in every shot.
• 80% let-off. Let-off is the percentage of weight subtracted from the advertised draw weight of the bow. Thus a bow set at 40lbs, with 80% let-off, will only require the shooter to hold back 8lbs of weight when the bow is at full draw.

Since 2008, sales of the Mathews Pink Lemonade Genesis, Electric Pink Ignition, Passion and now Jewel bows have generated over $100,000 for the Breast Cancer Research Foundation in the USA for the fight against breast cancer.
