New and improved, the most versatile bow on the market just became more versatile.

Now a 65% let-off design, the Mathews, a competition-quality bow with an adjustable draw stop that lets you customise your draw length and adjusts up to 40lbs of draw weight and to maintain proper form and produce a consistent follow-through for maximum accuracy.

Like the original Genesis bow, the Gen X will fit virtually everyone. But now, the Gen X has an adjustable draw stop that provides the archer with a "solid wall" which makes shooting with a mechanical release aid easier.

The Mathews Gen X features draw stop and higher poundage with a let off of up to 65%. Like the original Genesis, the Gen X features a Draw Stop Cam, a higher draw weight of up to 40lbs and a larger clearance area for centreshot adjustment.

The Gen X Draw Stop Cam allows users to customise the bow to their specific draw length. This feature provides the archer a "solid wall" or stop, indicating the archer is at his or her correct draw length. When utilized correctly, the archer will involuntarily activate the mechanical release aid. This surprise release maintains the archer's form and produces a consistent follow-through for maximum accuracy.

The Gen X also incorporates a higher draw weight than the original Genesis. With a maximum adjustable draw weight of 40lb, the Mathews Gen X shoots arrows at desirable arrow speeds for most target shooting applications.

The Gen X also has an expanded range of centreshot adjustment. When used with rests designed to move the arrow closer to or further from the riser, a greater clearance area can be achieved for large feathers or vanes.

Also featured on the Mathews Gen X are more decorative riser cutouts and red or chrome painted eccentrics.

The original Genesis line was revolutionary in that the zero let-off Genesis system made it the first compound bow to cover all draw lengths. This meant that everyone, children and adults, could shoot the same bow. The same holds true for the Mathews Gen X.
