Martin CCS and STS Upgrade pack Description
Quieten and improve the performance of your 2009 Bengal, Cheetah or Leopard compound bow through increased cable tension and by eliminating string vibration.
The CCS (Cable Containment System) replaces the carbon cable guard rod on most 2009 Martin bow models.
The STS (Shock Terminator Suppressor) comprises an offset rod, which is 6" long, 3-8" diameter with a 1.5" bumper attached.
The STS is installed in the 3-8" diameter hole located beneath the grip on the riser. Adjust the rod so that the rubber STS bumper just makes slight contact with the bowstring when at rest. Secure the rod in place by tightening the set screw on the side of the riser.
Installation of the CCS unit will create an increase of between 5# to 10# in draw weight. This increase in weight is fine to shoot but can be eliminated by installing a split cable of 1-2" longer length.

Upgrade pack contains the Cable Containment System - a bracket to eliminate string vibration and a Shock Terminator Suppressor - an offset cable rod with bumper to capture the string and prevent vibration.
