The ultimate in target bows, the Hoyt REDWRX Carbon RX1 Ultra is engineered with shooters from across the world in mind. 35 inches axle to axle, 330 fps ATA and 4.1 pounds there isn't a situation that will beat this bow
Hoyt REDWRX Carbon RX1 Ultra Target Description
It is time to get serious with the REDWRX RX1 from Hoyt.
What is behind the name REDWRX?
The badge represents the pinnacle of bow design, engineering and technology without any gimmicks!
All archers are not created equal and neither are their bows!
When Hoyt do carbon, they do it right.
With 50 individual layers of carbon coming together for its hollow tube design, the REDWRX RX-1 sets the benchmark for lightweight, durable carbon riser design.
Since the introduction of the Carbon Matrix in 2010, Hoyt has continually evolved their designs to end up with this bow hunting masterpiece.
Built with exceptional craftsmanship and the absolute best materials in the Hoyt QuadFlex limb system. An increase in width to .75", this limb configuration in its wider stance paired with Zero Tolerance Biax limb pockets provides the ultimate in torsional stability.
Efficient, smooth drawing, fast cams are at the heart of this premier target bow.
The Zero Torque (ZT) Hyper Cam is the fastest, highest let off cam Hoyt has ever produced. With two options of either 85% or 80%, the ZT Hyper Cam can be configured for your needs.
Defining this cam is the newly engineered split cable system with dual buss cable tracks terminating at the bottom cam, eliminating bottom cam lean and the need for a flexible cable guard system.
The top cam has not been left out of the equation either! As always with a Cam and a Half system, there is a yoke attached to either side of the top limb which can be altered in length by twisting to adjust top cam lean. This can lead to one side of the yoke being significantly more twisted than the other and under a different load to the opposing side.
The ZT Hyper Cam employs two differing sized tear drop shaped anchors at either side of the limb to allow an even twist ratio in each yoke leg, reducing any chance of unwanted stretch.
The RX1 Ultra stands apart from the other REDWRX bows with its longer 35" Axle to Axle and a draw length option of 32" down to 25.5" to suit most shooters.
Fuse custom strings constructed from BCY X material are the most stable Hoyt has ever produced.
There is no need for a bow press when installing a drop away rest due to the cable system make up. This feature provides convenience for the pro shop and home bow mechanic alike.
At full draw the REDWRX RX1 combination of Quadflex limbs and the ZT Hyper Cam create a longer axle to axle which allows for better head position and a more stable shooting platform.
Each REDWRX bow utilises a lower grip location in the riser. Its purpose is to keep the centre of mass at the grip for perfect balance, a new feature known as Optimised Weight Distribution. Previously, bows with this hand grip geometry have been top heavy in feel and unbalanced. This was simply not acceptable for the meticulous team of engineers at Hoyt. When designing the RX-1 Hoyt combatted this issue by incorporating an asymmetrical wider stance limb pocket design spanning 3.1" at the bottom of the riser compared to 2.6" at the top. Hoyt has located the new X-ACT grip in this riser position for optimised tuning and arrow delivery giving you one of Hoyt's most tunable bows to date.
Hand shock, residual vibration and excess noise is not a factor with this bow. The Hoyt Shock Pod vibration damping system in conjunction with Limb Shox hushes all, for the whisper quiet shot shooters demand.
Bow mass weight can be a critical factor when out on the line or trekking and climbing rough terrain on a 3D course. Tipping the scales at just 3.9 pounds, the REDWRX Carbon RX1 is the ultimate target bow to have by your side.

Not all shooters are created equal. That's a fact. Not all bows are created equal. This too, is a fact.
50 Plus Custom Carbon Layers. Carbon, purpose-built for pinpoint accuracy and deadly stealth. Each individual hand-laid carbon component is precision-tuned for structural optimisation. Each riser is purpose-built for enhanced stiffness and reduced vibration.
3 distinct hollow carbon tubes tougher than aluminium are strategically woven together, creating full structural stiffness optimisation throughout the entire riser platform.
Carbon has 11 times the stiffness to weight ratio of aluminium. Hoyt thermoset carbon endures more force without bending or twisting, eliminating riser vibration and increasing consistency and repeatability.
No Hoyt Carbon riser design is approved until surviving their brutal 1,500 dry fire test. Each dry fire delivers more than 104 foot pounds of kinetic energy, sourced from 80 lbs of draw weight at a 30 inch draw.
Compared to aluminium, carbon can absorb seven times more energy without permanent deformation. As an example, what happens when you park a 6,115 pound truck on a Hoyt carbon riser and an aluminium riser? The carbon riser has the ability to absorb the weight and energy and return to its original state without any permanent deformation, while the aluminium riser yields and remains bent.
Hoyt's carbon tubes are hollow, weighing 53% less than solid versions. In spite of being drastically lighter, Their hollow carbon tubes maintain 97% the stiffness and strength of a completely solid version.
Carbon provides 208 times more effective thermal insulation than aluminium. What does this mean to you? It means your carbon riser won't suck the life out of you on cold weather hunts, making you a more alert and effective hunter.
(All dry-fire testing is done by trained technicians with proper equipment. Dry firing (drawing and releasing your bow string without an arrow) is extremely dangerous and should never ever be attempted. Hoyt's 1,500 dry fire test and standard is for Hoyt risers. The truck torture test was done under controlled conditions and should not be attempted under any circumstances. If your bow is run over by a vehicle, do not shoot it. Take it directly to your dealer for full inspection. Running over your bow may void Hoyt's warranty policy.)
The new Quad Flex Limb system. Utilises entire length of limb, for increased efficiency, through our patent-pending pivoting pocket design. Past-parallel design creates less limb movement, resulting in a quiet, vibration-free shot.
New Hyper ZT Cam Technology maximises effective string angle, creating a longer axle-to-axle at full draw, increasing accuracy and stability; encourages a more comfortable and accurate head position; gives the manoeuvrability benefits of a short bow in your ground blind or tree stand, while providing the advantages of a longer axle-to-axle bow; Hyper ZT Cam design creates less limb movement, resulting in a quiet, vibration-free shot.
Hyper ZT Cam optimises peep position, creating a more direct string angle and brings the peep closer to your eye, increasing peep-to-sight distance and maximising accuracy.
Hyper ZT Cam allows a more comfortable and consistent anchor and alignment; eliminates 'head tilt' at anchor, by bringing the string to your nose, promoting proper head position and form. Reduced facial contact and string pressure results in more accurate and consistent arrow flight.
Hyper ZT Cam features optional limb stop for those seeking an even stiffer back wall experience than already afforded by the new dual cable stops, the Hyper ZT cams also come with a limb stop option. If you are after that zero-play feeling at full draw, the first-ever optional limb stop brings a new definition of rock-solid rigidity to the Hoyt back wall.
Effective string position at full draw. Head position is vital to the consistency and accuracy of your shot. The new Quad Flex Limb and Hyper ZT Cam systems work together to deliver a dramatically broader string angle, an increased full-draw axle-to-axle measurement and a more optimal peep position. These innovations allow a more relaxed, strain-free posture at full draw and reduce facial contact, string pressure and eye fatigue at anchor.
The result is a 2018 32-inch bow that feels and performs like last year's 35-inch equivalent. Yes, you read that right, your compact tree stand or ground blind bow will feel and perform like a stable and forgiving 35-inch bow and your 35-inch bow will perform like a 38-inch target dream bow. If the numbers don't convince you, your experience at full-draw and your tightened arrow groups will.
