Carter agree and that's why they set out to build an index finger wrist strap release that is ultra forgiving and ultra accurate by combining a brand new Carter innovation along with all of the best features of the past.

The end result is the new "Lucky", based on the extremely popular Like Mike release.

The Lucky features a shorter head and reduced body size, as well as the most customisable trigger tension system ever made.

The new Magnetic Attraction Tension System (M.A.T.S.) is a fully adjustable trigger tension system using NO springs. The M.A.T.S. is the fastest and easiest trigger tension system ever created. Simply remove or add the trigger magnets quickly and easily by sliding them in or out of the release body for instant trigger tension customisation. NO springs, NO corrosion, NO inconsistency in the trigger.

By combining the M.A.T.S in addition to Jerry Carter's proven double sear interior design, the Lucky equals consistent trigger fire, regardless of bow weight.

The Lucky has an open hook design for quick loop loading without excessive loop wear and includes the Scott buckle wrist strap.

Every Carter release has a CNC machined housing made from 6061 T6 aluminium.

It is vibratory deburred and anodised for a very attractive, yet durable finish.

The internal pieces of the release are CNC machined from 1018 cold roll steel. They are case hardened to 50 Rockwell C, electro nickel plated, then hardened a final time to reduce wear.

Each release is hand assembled and tested before it leaves the Carter factory.
