This hand held thumb trigger release is loaded with great features.
Carter has modified the very popular Wise Choice and incorporated the new Wise Choice 24 trigger, which is more robust for greater durability and an extension bar to give you more adjustability. You can customise your trigger position by rotating the extension bar as well as rotating the adjusto trigger for the custom fit and feel that Carter releases are known for.
Wise Choice 24 features the same comfortable and universal fit handle as the First Choice 24 and with a hole that accommodates a light glove for hunting scenarios. This assists with consistent index finger placement and adds the security of an enclosed placement for your peace of mind. It has the same very popular auto locking jaw for a quick and easy attachment to your D-Loop and the very popular Screw Tension Adjustment System for the most precise and simple trigger tension customisation. It has a removable lanyard system to give the bowhunter an option of clipping it on the loop or keeping the Wise Choice 24 on your wrist.
Carter’s unique "double sear" trigger system on the Wise Choice 24 makes for the finest trigger travel adjustment on the market. The screw tension adjustment allows for a super micro adjustable trigger tension by simply turning a screw.

Every Carter release has a CNC machined housing made from 6061 T6 aluminium.
It is vibratory deburred and anodised for a very attractive, yet durable finish.
The internal pieces of the release are CNC machined from 1018 cold roll steel. They are case hardened to 50 Rockwell C, electro nickel plated, then hardened a final time to reduce wear.
Each release is hand assembled and tested before it leaves the Carter factory.
