Carter Target 3 Finger Release Description
The three finger design of the Target 3 allows you to drop your little finger off the release while still giving you all of the preferred features of the Carter Target 4.
It has a closed reversed jaw and has been designed to make it easier on D-Loops and release rope and also for easier loading.
The three finger design is very comfortable for medium to large hands and the rounded corners give you the feeling that it is custom made.
This adjustable thumb trigger release has been redesigned to include the new ITS - Interchangeable Tension System making it easy to change the tension springs whenever, wherever you want.
Every Carter release has a CNC machined housing made from 6061 T6 aluminium.
It is vibratory deburred and anodised for a very attractive, yet durable finish.
The internal pieces of the release are CNC machined from 1018 cold roll steel. They are case hardened to 50 Rockwell C, electro nickel plated, then hardened a final time to reduce wear.
Each release is hand assembled and tested before it leaves the Carter factory.
