Bohning X3 Vane 3.5" 100's Description
The shield cut X3 Vane from Bohning, formerly called a Bolt Vane is ideal for compound bowhunting, 3D and crossbows. The length and profile provide excellent steerage for any style of broadhead. The X3 Vane is 3.5" or 12.7mm and measures 0.49in or 12.4mm in height and weighs an average of 11.6 grains which allows for greater rotational torque and faster correction than lower profile vanes.
A versatile vane, this high performance Bohning vane makes a great choice with any broadhead and hunting arrow setup and works equally well with both fixed and mechanical broadheads.
Constructed from a durable, rigid, stiffer material to withstand the rigours of bowhunting and long distance shots, while taming broadhead flight. Due to the ultra stiff nature of the material, Bohning recommends using an instant glue and/or a fletching jig with high adhesion force.
Can be used for both bowhunting and crossbows.
This vane is made of a material that stands up to heavy usage for trustworthy performance. This vane has become a mainstay at IBO, ASA and TAC events. Like all Bohning vanes, the base of the X Vane is pre-primed for optimal adhesion and made of AR1000, a stiffer vane material.
