After trying every vane out there my choice is clearly the AAE Pro Max Vane, I do my own fletching and use a 6 fletch on each arrow, Yes that's Six Vanes, Seeing is believing and once you try this configuration you will be sold on the Performance you achieve. I cannot use my Bitzenburger to fletch these, so I use a AAE fletcher III it allows me to fletch as I want. Best little Fletcher I have used. It has a 1 1/2 degree Helical which is perfect for Target and Hunting. I Fletch 5-8" from the end of arrow, not the nock. I've heard a lot of folks saying they have had trouble glueing them, I prep my arrows quick scuff with scotch bright dampen a cloth with acetone wipe them down clean bases of vanes w tip and acetone and use aae max bond the vanes are next to impossible to take off!
