RINEHART
John Rinehart, the founder of Rinehart Targets has been producing premium quality American made targets since 1997. He began working with foam and came up with the compound that would become Rinehart’s trademarked solid self-healing foam. In 1999 he went on to create the first patented locking inserts for Rinehart’s 3D animal targets, which deliver longer insert life and easy, effortless arrow removal. Their target line has continued to grow with new and exceptional targets.
The Rinehart R-100 Archery Tournament was born in 2003, out of a desire to introduce children to archery and provide fun for the whole family. The events give hunting clubs and other groups the chance to test their skills on 3D targets, ranging from small animal targets to life-size giraffes and elephants.
John stepped down in 2005, handing over the reins to his daughter, Barbara McGovern nee Rinehart and her husband, James. Since then, they introduced the archery industry’s only target with a full one year guarantee on the very popular 18 to 1. Rinehart continues to enjoy success and remains committed to developing the highest quality and most innovative products on the market.
