This is the super daddy of bowfishing points with extra strong barbs to hold your fish.

The AMS Bowfishing 3 barb Grapple Point has three Innerloc retractable barbs which fold back against the ferrule or frame of the point to keep the entry hole small and after entry, barbs open wide to hold the fish.

Three barbs are collapsed on the shot and pivot out to a huge holding area of nearly 2.5".

Its machined stainless steel body with replaceable tip gives you a serious point for holding onto fish.

An internal rubber sleeve minimises loosening of the tip from vibration.

The barbs are flat to the body on the shot. The Grapple Point requires more penetration before barbs will engage, but is an excellent point and better for those with higher draw weights of 50# or more.

This is one of the best holding points available and is a heavy duty point made to hit hard and not let go.

Great for larger or softer fish like carp, big head carp and silvers.

The Grapple Point fits 5-16" shafts and has incredible holding power. This point holds the fish until you have retrieved it where you simply remove the tip completely to release the barbs.

It is strongly recommended that you use the AMS Safety Slide system on your arrows to keep all line in front of your rest when you draw, preventing the possibility of arrow snap-back resulting in the fishing line tying itself to the bowstring. The safety slide keeps the line out in front of the bow on the shot and when released, the arrow will move through the slide to the "shock" pad, taking your line to your fish.

For bowfishing, you require these items

• A bowfishing reel
• A solid fibreglass fish arrow with a nock and steel fish point installed and a drilled hole through the shaft to attach and secure fishing line so you can reel the fish in after spearing it with the arrow
• 5 piece Safety Slide kit
• Nylon fishing line
• Bowfishing roller rest to launch your fibreglass fish arrow
