HUNTING TAKE-DOWN
Hunting take down recurves from Hoyt as well as Bear which are all still hand made in the USA by bowyers, some of which have been plying their craft for upwards of 40 years.
Hoyt has been making bows since 1931, carrying on a proud tradition initiated by the late Earl Hoyt. Hoyt bows are made in their Salt Lake City, Utah facility.
Fred Bear registered his company in 1939, although its parent company, Escalade Sports, formerly known as Indian Archery commenced in 1927. Bear traditional bows are made in Gainesville, Florida and still keep to Fred's trusted methods of crafting bows.
We believe our recurve offering from these famous manufacturers, gives our customers variety in the range, yet at very affordable prices. Needless to say Hoyt and Bear recurves are made to the highest standards and when you buy one of these bows, you normally are buying a bow you keep for life.
We also stock a beginner recurve from Easton, who commenced business in 1922. Easton started in Watsonville, California but later moved to Van Nuys, California and then to their present location of Salt Lake City, Utah.
Bear introduced its own beginner recurve and is focussing on bows for people entering our great sport of archery and who are naturally tentative about spending a large amount on their first bow when they are unsure if they will love archery.
